Sarcout “Sed” Zangana is a San Diego native, born and raised.
Prior to joining the firm, Sed worked with a firm in Orange County, representing
corporations and municipalities, homeowners’ associations and individuals
in product defect, premise liability, and personal injury cases. Additionally,
Sed represented plaintiffs in business, real property and personal injury disputes.
Sed attended San Diego State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Political Science. As an undergraduate student at SDSU, Sed was the
Vice President and Community Service Chair of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity
and a member of the Kurdish American Students Organization. Sed obtained
his Juris Doctor from Arizona Summit Law School. While attending law school,
Sed received several academic awards, including the CALI Excellence for
the Future Award for achieving the highest grade in the courses of Real
Estate Transactions, International Law, and Civil Rights – Discrimination.
As a law student, Sed was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity,
Vice President of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association, and Public
Relations Chair of the National Lawyers Guild.
Sed is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the Orange County
Bar Association, the Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego, and serves on the
Board of the Iranian American Bar Association.
In his spare time, Sed enjoys strength training and is an avid runner.
Sed also enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering for various
community-run organizations around San Diego County.
