State of CA v. Raymond Ayala, et al.

Posted By Allen, Semelsberger & Kaelin LLP || 27-Oct-2014

We represented a developer who purchased raw land near a future freeway corridor. The State re-designed the freeway corridor and took the land for freeway purposes. The State offered $90,000 for the parcel. After a four-day bench trial, the Court ruled in our favor that the subject property was entitled to the benefit of the freeway location. The case then settled post bench trial for $400 ,000.00.
